2011-12 All-ECAC Teams

There were a lot of tough decisions to be made when picking All-ECAC teams this year. Only a few guys were clear cut First Team All-ECAC, and there were a ton of guys who could have been on the Second and Third Teams. Also, I had a tough time with the All-Rookie team, especially with defensemen.

I've highlighted a league stat for each player that stood out to me. Yes, I know stats don't mean everything, but they do mean a lot. Most top-tier player's performance are based on it. There are a lot of great "grinders" out there that really help their team, but since they don't put up big numbers they don't usually make All-"Whatever" teams.

Note: All forward stat rankings are based on ALL skaters, while defenseman stats are based on just defenseman stats, and rookie stats are based only on rookie stats, unless denoted by an * (meaning it's for ALL skaters).
