SLU's Matt Weninger shutout RPI on Saturday night |
ECAC Hockey league play kicked off this week. After just one week, there are only two undefeated teams (Union and Dartmouth) and one pointless team (RPI). This could be an early sign of how much parody there will be in the league this year. We had Yale allowing 6 goals on Friday, but then shutting out the opposition the following night. The opposite happened to Colgate, who scored 5 goals on Friday, only to get shut out on Saturday. Once again, RPI had trouble finding the back of the net, only scoring 1 goal during the weekend.
