Since it's the holiday season, I thought this would be a good time to promote a great cause. Goals for Good was created by Colgate senior captain Kevin McNamara to help ECAC Hockey teams and their fans give back to the community. On the G4G's website, it says the organization mission is "to provide a vehicle inspiring people to donate to chosen non-profit organizations through collegiate ice hockey competition." So far, things have been coming along nicely for G4G as the league has raised around a combined $2,000. Colgate is leading the way with $1.458, and they could use some help from other schools that have not joined in on the act yet. So, as a part of the holiday spirit, I urge some of you to donate to this great cause.
